Privacy Policy

Your trust, handled with care.

Privacy isn't about having something to hide. It's about choosing who gets to know you.

Last updated: October 17, 2026

When you read Tech-Stribe, create an account, place an order, or write to us, you may share information with us. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

We have tried to keep it short and clear.

Who We Are

Tech-Stribe is a technology publication and digital services company available at www.stribetech.com. We publish articles, and we offer guest posting, link insertion, and website development. In this policy, "we", "us", and "our" mean Tech-Stribe.

For privacy questions, contact us at techstribe7@gmail.com or use our Contact page.

Information We Collect

Information you give us

  • Your account: your name, email address, and password (stored in scrambled form). You can also add a phone number and a company name.
  • Orders and projects: the details you submit with an order, such as website and page addresses, article titles and text, anchor text, notes, files you upload, and the requirements you write for a website project.
  • Payments: the transaction reference, any note you add, and the payment screenshot you upload so we can verify your payment. We don't take card payments on this site, so we never see or store card numbers.
  • Messages and inquiries: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, the message you send us, and any file you attach.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, certain technical information is collected, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you request. Our hosting providers record this to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

To protect accounts, we count incorrect password attempts, and we remember the browser and operating system you sign in from (for example, "Chrome on Windows") so we can email you if someone signs in from a device we haven't seen. We don't store your IP address for this.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Create and manage your account, and keep you signed in securely
  • Review, invoice, and deliver your orders, and verify your payments
  • Send you the emails that go with your account and orders: email verification, password resets, invoices, order and project updates, and security alerts
  • Reply to your questions, corrections, and pitches
  • Keep the site secure and working properly, and prevent abuse
  • Keep the records we are required to keep for accounting and legal reasons

We do not use your information for anything that would surprise you.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use only what the site needs to work: a cookie that keeps you signed in, and a little browser storage that remembers your cart and unfinished forms.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some of them may affect how parts of the site work, such as staying signed in. For the full list, see our Cookie Policy.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

  • With the service providers described above
  • With the owner of a website where you ask us to place content, but only the details needed to complete that order, such as your article and link details
  • Where the law requires it

Keeping Your Information Safe

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. Connections to the site are encrypted, passwords are stored in scrambled form, and access to customer information is limited to the people who need it to do their work. We also lock accounts after repeated wrong passwords and email you about unfamiliar sign-ins.

No website or online service can promise perfect security, but we take the responsibility seriously.

How Long We Keep It

We keep your information only for as long as we need it:

  • Account details: while your account is open
  • Orders, invoices, contracts, and payment records: as long as accounting and the law require
  • Messages, uploaded files, and inquiries: as long as they are useful for the order or request they belong to
  • Security logs: for a limited time, to protect accounts and investigate problems

If you ask us to delete your information, we will, except for records we are legally required to keep.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong
