This page explains when Tech-Stribe refunds a payment and when it cannot, for guest posts, link insertions, and website development. We have tried to make it fair for you and honest about how these services work.
Guest Posts and Link Insertions
What happens to your money depends on how far the order has gone:
Submitted or under review
- What you can expect
- Nothing has been charged. You can cancel at any time.
Approved and invoiced, not yet paid
- What you can expect
- You owe nothing until you pay. You can cancel at any time.
Paid, and we have not started
- What you can expect
- Full refund.
In progress with the publisher
- What you can expect
- Full refund if we can still withdraw the order. If the publisher has already accepted and scheduled it, we will try to stop it, and if we can't, it is treated as published.
Published or live
- What you can expect
- No refund. We will fix any mistake we made, such as a wrong link or anchor text, at no cost.
| Stage of your order | What you can expect |
|---|---|
| Submitted or under review | Nothing has been charged. You can cancel at any time. |
| Approved and invoiced, not yet paid | You owe nothing until you pay. You can cancel at any time. |
| Paid, and we have not started | Full refund. |
| In progress with the publisher | Full refund if we can still withdraw the order. If the publisher has already accepted and scheduled it, we will try to stop it, and if we can't, it is treated as published. |
| Published or live | No refund. We will fix any mistake we made, such as a wrong link or anchor text, at no cost. |
The websites in our marketplace belong to other publishers, and many of them do not allow refunds or changes once content is live. That is why we cannot refund after publication.
Website Development
Every website project has a written contract, and that contract decides what is refundable:
- Before development starts: a full refund of what you have paid.
- After development has started: the refund depends on the work already done, as set out in your contract.
- After the website is delivered and accepted: no refund, but we will fix problems that don't match what we agreed, within the revisions in your contract.
If your contract says something different from this page, your contract applies.
When We Refund in Full
Whatever the stage, you get a full refund if:
- We decline your order after you have paid
- The publisher refuses your content or the website is no longer available, and we can't offer a suitable alternative that you accept
- You paid twice, or paid more than the invoice amount
- We can't deliver within a reasonable time after the delivery time shown, and you choose to cancel
Instead of a refund, you can choose to move your payment to a different website or service. We are happy to do that.
What We Can't Refund
- Orders already published or live, as described above
- A change of mind after your content is live
- Results. We do not guarantee rankings, traffic, indexing, or sales, so a result that falls short of your hopes is not a reason for a refund. Please see our Disclaimer
- Changes the publisher makes after publication, such as changing a link or removing a post. We will contact the publisher on your behalf, but we can't force them to act
- Content we declined to publish because it broke our Content Policy, after work on it had already started
How to Ask for a Refund
Please tell us as soon as you can, and include your order or project number, the email on your account, and the reason.
You can write to techstribe7@gmail.com or use our Contact page. We will review your request, check it against the stage your order reached, and reply as soon as we reasonably can.
Approved refunds are sent back by the same method you used to pay, where we can. Fees charged by your bank or payment service may not be recoverable.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top. Orders you have already paid for stay under the policy that applied when you placed them.
